The Texas coast offers awesome opportunity for paddlers.

Kayak fishing, birding and touring in the Rockport - Fulton and Goose Island area has increased dramatically over the past few years. The State of Texas has set up Kayak Trails all along the coast. In fact, it is getting crowded.

Of course you could paddle all day to reach remote areas without crowds, but then you would have to endure camping in some of the most inhospitable country along the coast. Not the best way to go if you want to spend any time in these remote coastal areas.

Rockport Birding and Kayak Adventures can provide an excellent alternative.

High-speed transport for your kayak and gear to the remote areas north of Rockport. In less than an hour of comfortable running we will drop you and your partner off to enjoy a day of fishing, birding, and exploring along the uncrowded back lakes and estuaries found along the barrier islands. We will pick you up in the late afternoon and whisk you back to Rockport-Fulton and your comfortable accommodations.

We will depart in the morning and whisk you and your kayak to the remote areas north of Rockport to tour, fish, and view wildlife. Destinations are flexible, the back lakes and sloughs are nearly endless and provide an un-crowded environment for you to enjoy. We will pick you up at a designated location in the afternoon for the return trip to Fulton Harbor. Outdoor freshwater shower and ice for your catch are always provided. Artificial baits only, please.
